4월12일 개통한 미르 309 출렁다리

Hey there! I want to tell you about the newly opened “4월12일 개통한 미르 309 출렁다리” in South Korea. This suspension bridge, with a length of 309 meters, is the longest of its kind in the country. Located on the 1km Meta Sequoia Road, it is part of the beautiful lakeside trail. In a video by Kim-Travel, they introduce viewers to the breathtaking scenery of the bridge, the Meta Sequoia Road, and the surrounding lake. If you’re planning a trip to 진천 (Jincheon), be sure to visit this mesmerizing attraction!

Now let me give you some details about the journey. You start by crossing 진천 농다리 (Jincheon Nongdari), then make your way to the newly opened 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge) that was inaugurated on April 12th. After experiencing the bridge, you can continue walking along the picturesque 초평호수 둘레길 (Chopyeong Lakeside Trail). The spring views of 진천 (Jincheon) fields are absolutely stunning. From the 농다리 (Nongdari) parking lot, it’s about a 2 to 3km walk. You can search for 진천 농다리 주차장 (Jincheon Nongdari parking lot) on your car’s navigation system. The parking lot in question is the one with shops, known as 제일주차장 (Jeil Parking Lot). From there, you’ll have about 250m left to reach the 농다리 (Nongdari) itself. Keep walking straight from the first parking lot, and you’ll cross a stone bridge named 굴다리 (Guldari). After that, you’ll come across parking lots J2 through J4. It’s at the second parking lot that you’ll be about 200 to 300m away from the 농다리 (Nongdari). There’s a stream in front of you, called 미우 (Miu), with two bridges crossing it. Naturally, we choose the 농다리 (Nongdari) path instead. The design of the bridge is quite different from the typical stone bridges we usually see. It’s built by arranging small stones like fish scales on both sides and topping them with big rocks. How many of these large rocks do you think are on the bridge? I counted 28, but I could potentially be wrong. When you’re crossing the 농다리 (Nongdari), I invite you to count them and see if your count matches mine. After successfully crossing the 진천 농다리 (Jincheon Nongdari), you’ll find signposts and maps. Starting from the 농다리 (Nongdari) entrance, I plan to follow the path towards 야예 음악당 (Yaye Music Hall), passing the new 미르 3공구 출렁다리 (Mir 3rd Construction Suspension Bridge) and the beginning of 하늘다리 (Sky Bridge). Before heading to the 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge), I’ll stop by 천연정 (Cheonyeonjeong), a scenic viewing area with lots of branches blocking the panoramic view. Now, let’s proceed to the recently built 미르 3광고 출렁다리 (Mir 3 Advertisement Suspension Bridge). After passing the signpost, there’s a deck surrounded by lush green grass and leaves, greeting me warmly in vibrant colors. I wonder why the leaves turn red in the spring? If anyone knows the reason, please leave a comment. Do you see the purple flowers ahead? They are even more stunning amidst the lush green leaves. They are called 자형 (Jahyung) in Chinese because they resemble a piece of clothing called “bakbon” or “batgedae” in Korean. Although we can’t see a blue sky due to the fine dust these days, the green colors surrounding us are enough to uplift our spirits. If you continue straight, you’ll pass through 성황당 (Seonghwangdang) and eventually reach 야예 음악당 (Yaye Music Hall), which leads to the 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge). However, I’ll take a detour through a path on the left called “농정 (Nongjeong)” and head towards 야예 음악당 (Yaye Music Hall). It took me about 5 to 6 minutes to reach 농정 (Nongjeong) from a three-way intersection. When you arrive at 농정 (Nongjeong), I recommend you visit this beautiful veering point. If you look towards the side with many branches, you won’t be able to see the panoramic view, but looking towards the other side, you’ll witness a breathtaking panorama of 초평 호수 (Chopyeong Lake) from a high point. Although we can’t see a blue sky due to the fine dust, the green grass and leaves still make us feel good. If you continue walking straight, you’ll pass the 성황당 (Seonghwangdang) and eventually reach 야예 음악당 (Yaye Music Hall) via the 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge). However, I’ll head towards 야예 음악당 (Yaye Music Hall) by taking the left path through the 농정 (Nongjeong). I walked for about 3 to 4 minutes from the three-way intersection and arrived at 농암정 (Nongamjeong). Because 농정 is on a mountain ridge, the breeze here feels cool and refreshing. When you visit this place, be sure to stop by 농정. Although you can’t enjoy a panoramic view on the side with many branches, looking towards the opposite side, you’ll see a splendid view of 초평 호수 (Chopyeong Lake) from a high point. As I mentioned before, we can’t see a blue sky due to the fine dust, but the green grass and leaves continue to uplift our spirits. I’m going to continue walking along the trail towards the left, where 야예 음악당 (Yaye Music Hall) is located. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes to reach this point from the 하늘다리 (Sky Bridge). From here, you can already spot the bridge in the distance, which I crossed earlier. It’s time to explore the breathtaking view from the 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge) that was newly opened on April 12th. Now, you may wonder why it’s called “미르 (Mir) 309 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge)”. “미르 (Mir)” is an ancient word for dragons, as there is a legend that dragons lived in 초평 호수 (Chopyeong Lake). I believe that’s why they named it “미르 (Mir)”, and “309” refers to the length of the suspension bridge, which is 309 meters long. As far as I know, this is the longest suspension bridge among the 주탑 (Jutab) suspension bridges in South Korea. As I walk across the 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge), I’m enjoying the beautiful view of 초평 호수 (Chopyeong Lake) on my right. While many suspension bridges these days tend to interfere with the natural landscape, this bridge beautifully enhances the scenery of 초평 호수 (Chopyeong Lake) without obstructing the natural environment. Next, I’ll turn my gaze towards the left and explore the view. I can spot the 농암정 (Nongamjeong) pavilion, which I climbed earlier, and on the left side, the 야예 음악당 (Yaye Music Hall) is visible. I’ve been walking for quite a while, so it might take about 15 to 20 minutes to reach this point from the 하늘다리 (Sky Bridge). But it’s all worth it because the view of 초평 호수 (Chopyeong Lake) exudes a magnificent beauty. Even though we can’t see a blue sky due to the fine dust, the vibrant green grass and leaves continue to uplift our spirits. Now, let’s continue walking along the trail towards 진천 농다리 (Jincheon Nongdari). I have arrived at the starting point, which is the 농다리 (Nongdari). Expect to spend about an hour to do the round trip from the 농다리 (Nongdari) and cross both the 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge) and the 하늘다리 (Sky Bridge). If you choose to walk along the trail towards 진천 농다리 (Jincheon Nongdari) after crossing the 출렁다리 (Suspension Bridge), it will take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to 2 hours. Oh, and when you visit here, make sure to check out 메타 세카 학길 (Meta Sequoia Road). To reach this place, just follow 묘우 1 for about 200 meters. If you continue in the direction of the artificial waterfall, you’ll find it. Let’s go explore together! I’ve arrived at the artificial waterfall. Although they aren’t activating it today, the flowing water is still mesmerizing. Right next to the artificial waterfall, you’ll find the starting point of 메타 새카 길 (Meta Sequoia Road). It’s about 700 to 800 meters long. Let’s take a stroll along this path.
